MOT Faillure?

Does your SD1 failled the MOT? Was it because of the rubber coupling on the lower shaft? This can be a hard to find part, and it is not repairable either.

But there is a solution!

Peugeot and Citroen used these parts in there cars for many years. The same rubber steering coupling is used in models like the Peugeot 204, 304, 404, 505 and is fully interchangeable with the Rover version.

if you want to order the Peugeot part. number is: 40 40 14 but in the after market these parts are also known as: 740.4015P (Co Ge Fa France).

As you can see the part is identical, ready to fit, and easy to install. You even get new bolts and nuts with it, and best of all, with some luck even cheaper as the original part.
